As a result of lockdown in November 2020, the Annual  Christmas Market had to be cancelled. Speen Helping Hospices then developed an online shop  which is rarely used now and the website has become a marketing vehicle for fundraising events.

September 2026 – SHH Fundraising and Select Comedy presents A Charity Comedy Night Fundraiser 2026 –

Elliot Wengler is proud to present another spectacular stand-up night fundraising for SHH. It is now the third year in a row at its new home at the Lacey Green Millenium Hall, Lacey Green HP27 0PL

Featuring major up and coming comedy stars, this year’s show is headlined by Ria Lina, as seen on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, heard on Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show, Just a Minute, The Unbelievable Truth, and the list goes on quite frankly..

The show will also feature Chris Norton Walker, Andy Gleeks, Sally Firth and the show will be MC’d by Elliot Wengler – Tickets £20 per person – no card / booking fees
