New members are welcome here
We are looking for new members. If you are interested, please contact Alan Clark on 01494 488371 or at jopippa@btinternet.com.
We play every Monday in Speen Village Hall at 13.30 in winter and 14.00 for the rest of the year.
We are not a group for beginners; some knowledge of bidding conventions is required. However, we are not serious players like some bridge clubs and we play our games in a very relaxed and friendly way.
We play 16 hands of Duplicate Bridge, and we draw for partners each week. We stop for tea and biscuits after 8 hands. There is a £3 charge when you play.
Each week members are invited to say if they want to play next week. No need to commit to playing every week.
We would like to be a diverse group and invite players of all backgrounds and from all nearby areas. We currently have players from Hughenden Valley (that’s nearly High Wycombe), Widmer End, Lacey Green, darkest Prestwood and Princes Risborough (outside the Chilterns!)
