King William IV Public House Speen

Regretfully . . the KWIV has closed.

Nestled in the heart of the Chilterns Hills in the picturesque village of Speen; located within easy reach of: Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Princes Risborough and surrounding areas.

Yes, although the KWIV closed its doors for the last time on Boxing Day 2015 and is currently on the market at an asking price of £825k, there are plenty of people who hope it will open them again and once more become the lively heart of the village that it used to be. A group have been working hard to establish a rescue plan, and in October 2018 they created the website above  – have a look at their latest news and for any updates.
CAMRA has a section on Promoting & Protecting Pubs, click here to visit that section of the CAMRA website and to see what suggestions they have. They also list the KWIV as a ‘closed’ pub – click here to visit that page.
